The Academic Technologists Union of Polytechnic (ATUP) is a result of the visionary efforts of the Forum of Academic Technologists in Nigeria Polytechnics. Officially established on the ... of ..., 2024, the Union represents technologists in Polytechnics and Monotechnics across the Six Geo-Political Zones of Nigeria.

ATUP's primary aim is to address welfarism and defend the rights and interests of its members while fostering technological adaptability and socio-economic advancements. The Union operates under a constitution crafted through broad consultation and is regulated by the Trade Union Act.
